Full-Service Accounting for JDG¶
This guide is written for people who run their JDG themselves — and for most IT freelancers with one invoice a month that is genuinely enough. But doing it yourself doesn't suit everyone, or every situation.
When you need an accountant¶
- No time or desire to deal with declarations, contributions and deadlines — you want to work, not administrate.
- You are a VAT payer: deductions, JPK_V7M, korekty and the mandatory KSeF noticeably raise the cost of a mistake.
- Non-standard situations: several activity types with different ryczałt rates, goods instead of services, employees, a company car.
- You are preparing for legalization — you need error-free certificates and statements for the urząd.
- Polish-only correspondence with a typical local accountant is a barrier: you want to ask questions in a language you're comfortable with and get answers you understand.
If none of these apply to you — run the books yourself: start with inFakt setup or wFirma and the monthly routine.
The guide's partner — Legal Tax Level¶
Legal Tax Level is a company (Sp. z o.o., Gdańsk) founded by immigrants who went through business registration and legalization in Poland themselves, so they communicate with clients in English — no Polish required. They work under a contract and, besides accounting, handle JDG and spółka registration as well as legalization matters.
What the JDG service includes:
- bookkeeping, tax and contribution calculations, filing declarations (ZUS DRA, PIT, VAT, JPK);
- a client portal based on wFirma: invoices issued in a couple of clicks are immediately visible to the accountant, all documents in one place, and your bank account can be connected for automatic payment reconciliation;
- training on the portal and consultations on day-to-day questions — they promise to reply within 15 minutes during working hours;
- if you terminate the contract, they hand the wFirma account with its full history over to you.
Terms as of August 2026
- 225 PLN net/month (276.75 PLN gross) — a package of up to 10 invoices per month, the price is locked until the end of the calendar year;
- or 1200 PLN net for 6 months with 100% prepayment (a one-time offer when signing the contract);
- contract notice period — 1 month;
- extra services (virtual office, VAT registration, individual tax ruling requests, etc.) are billed separately.
Check current terms on the Legal Tax Level website.
How to sign up¶
- Open the JDG offer page.
- Fill in the short form (4 fields) or message them on Telegram/WhatsApp — contacts are on the same page.
- They will call you back, answer your questions and, if everything suits you, sign a contract and set up a power of attorney.
Transparency
Legal Tax Level is the guide's partner: the guide earns a percentage for every client who comes from us. This does not affect your price or what we write: the whole guide still teaches you to run a JDG yourself, for free. Referral commissions are a way to support the project without spending a single złoty extra.
Alternatives¶
- Do it yourself with online accounting — inFakt (from ~30 PLN on the basic plan) or wFirma: the guide covers setup and all monthly operations.
- inFakt with an accountant — inFakt offers a plan where their accountants do the books (in Polish).
- A classic biuro rachunkowe near you — usually 150–300 PLN/month, communication in Polish, documents often by e-mail.
